Statement of the Afghanistan Women’s Movement for Equality

In Support of the Legitimate Demands of Afghan Women and the Protest of Afghans in Germany

The Afghanistan Women’s Movement for Equality expresses its full support for the peaceful, civic, and advocacy-based actions of Afghan women, as well as the demonstrations organized by Afghan compatriots residing in Germany in solidarity with the rights of women, girls’ access to education, freedom, and equality in Afghanistan.

We firmly believe that the demands of Afghan women for education, employment, civil liberties, social participation, and a dignified life are legitimate, lawful, and grounded in universal human rights principles. No society can achieve justice, sustainable development, or lasting peace by depriving women of their fundamental rights.

The Afghanistan Women’s Movement for Equality extends its appreciation to all courageous Afghan women, both inside and outside the country, who continue to stand for freedom, equality, and justice despite threats, pressure, and severe restrictions. Their voices represent millions of Afghan women and girls who aspire to a future based on education, dignity, and human rights.

We also welcome and acknowledge the solidarity of Afghan compatriots in Germany who have organized peaceful protests and public gatherings to amplify the voices of Afghan women at the international level. These initiatives reflect a shared responsibility, awareness, and commitment to defending human rights and universal values.

The Afghanistan Women’s Movement for Equality emphasizes that the denial of women’s access to education, employment, and public participation is not only a clear violation of human rights but also a major obstacle to Afghanistan’s development, stability, and future progress. Therefore, supporting the demands of Afghan women means supporting a more just, inclusive, and humane future for the entire country.

We call on the international community, the United Nations, human rights organizations, democratic governments, and all advocates of freedom and justice to stand with Afghan women and support their legitimate demands for the restoration of their fundamental rights.

The Afghanistan Women’s Movement for Equality reiterates that the struggle for freedom, equality, and justice will continue, and the voices of Afghan women will never be silenced.
